30 years ago Gilbert showed up for a job opportunity as an electrician and found out the position was for a roofer. He filled out the paperwork and they hired him for $6.50 an hour. He was thrilled to have a job and quickly excelled as a roofer. His employers appreciated his dedication to detail and punctuality. He quickly worked his way up the ranks of the roofing company and became a respected member of the team.

Gilbert opened the doors to his own roofing business in 2010 after spending more than 16 years perfecting his craft as a roofer in Arizona and California. He decided it was time to branch out on his own in Arizona.

When Gilbert started his business, he took the state roofing contractor exam and received his license from the Arizona Registrar of Contractors. He keeps his license updated annually and has no complaints against his business since opening in 2010.

Gilbert is a respected contractor and maintains partnerships with many builders around the Phoenix valley who keep him busy with projects throughout the year. They have one-on-one experience and know that Gilbert’s crew of roofers will complete their roofing projects with the highest quality workmanship and materials.

Gilbert prides himself on showing up to initial consultation, will be present throughout the project, and will be there for the final walk-through. He believes it's important to get to know the homeowners and builders, and have first-hand experience with the roofing project.

For 32 years Gilbert has called the east valley his home. He prides himself on being married to his sweetheart, Lorena for 20 years. He has three daughters and one son, and will soon become a grandfather to his first grandchild. His 2 youngest children still live at home, and he's thrilled to be able to spend time with his girls every weekend.

Gilbert Roofing is a family-owned business with his wife, Lorena and their oldest daughter helping out with the bookkeeping. Gilbert and Lorena are devout Catholics who attend their community church regularly.
